Stage 08 – Salle – Caramanico Terme

From Salle, where the remains of Blessed Roberto da Salle—a disciple of Pietro del Morrone—rest, the trail climbs up to the abandoned village of Salle Vecchio and the castle, then descend back down to the Orta River and follow its course upstream to the foot of Caramanico Terme, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, which you’ll pass through in its entirety to reach the Park Visitor Center, the end of this stage.
