Stage 23 – Madonna Grande – Serracapriola

From the Madonna Grande, you return to the Tratturo Magno and follow it for a long stretch until you reach the Saccione stream, which marks the border between Molise and Puglia; Here, at the foot of Montesecco, there used to be a large resting place along the sheep trail, and it was the point where the Tratturo Magno and the Tratturo Centurelle Montesecco converged. The route continues with ups and downs, culminating in a challenging final ascent that leads to the village of Serracapriola.
