Casale Mammarella was created following the post-seismic renovation of an old family residence on a single level of about 120 square meters, currently divided into two independent apartments. Located on the immediate outskirts just outside the ancient city walls 800 meters from the Basilica of Santa Maria di Collemaggio, a symbolic monument of Abruzzo’s capital Collemaggio (here he was crowned pope on August 29, 1294 with the name Celestine V).
