The newly built facility, classified as a Youth Hostel, is owned by the Province of Pescara and has been managed since 2012 by the Cooperative Society Il Bosso. The hostel is located in the heart of Abruzzo, in the Tirino Valley district, the southern gateway to the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. The facility is located a few meters from one of the clearest and cleanest rivers in Italy, the Tirino precisely, and numerous hiking trails and itineraries suitable for trekking, Nordic walking, canoeing or kayaking and mountain biking start in the vicinity.
The Hostel, has 6 rooms for a total of 24 beds, a kitchen, a laundry room, a large relaxation area equipped with TV, wi-fi connection throughout the facility, and a furnished garden.
